Psychology in a Liberal Arts College:
What's It Like and How Do You Get There From Here?

Lazenby Hall, Room 34, at 4:00 PM
Thursday, November 19, 1998

In this conversation I will describe the academic environment of a liberal arts college and psychology's place in it. A primary aim is to provide some insight into what life is like as an academic psychologist in such a setting -- both its positive and negative features. Further, I will examine the kinds of steps one can take to prepare oneself for this kind of career path, how one's interest in pursuing this path can be clearly reflected during the application process, and what kinds of questions one should ask.
